Paisley Witherspoon

The statue of John Witherspoon (1723-1794) outside the University of the West of Scotland in Paisley. Witherspoon lived in Beith, then Paisley, before moving to the USA where he was a signatory of the Declaration of Independence. I thought the grey of the statue looked good against the autumn hues.
