Summer meadows

Another Southern Marsh Orchid - no apologies. I back-marked on a walk today which took us to a Sheffield Wildlife Trust site called Carr House Meadows, which is at its best at the moment, with a wide range of wild plants in flower. We were accompanied by Julie and Claire from the Trust, who greatly enhanced our enjoyment by providing information about the ecology of the site. Although there wasn't the range or number of orchids as last week's walk, we had better weather, more time to enjoy the flora, and a more appreciative audience.
