REDWING.

A terrible morning, certainly to wet to go a walk, so I went shopping and then a visit to the care home. It cleared up late morning so off I went with the four dogs for a woodland walk instead of the canal. The sky turned blue and suddenly in the hawthorn tree I spied this beautiful Red Wing. Hard to blip with one hand, but quite pleased how it turned out. They are beautiful birds and it is many years since I have seen one, they come here for the winter.
