Where have all the birds gone ?

Walking past this building everyday I noticed that all the pigeons had disappeared. On closer inspection at the top of each pillar spikes have been placed, thus preventing the birds from landing in their usual spots, poor things can't make anymore deposits there !!

This building is reputed to be the largest Indian Restaurant in the UK. Once upon a time it was a Methodist Chapel, a sign of the times, Churches as well as pubs closing down and being turned into Indian Restaurants.
