Experiential learning ...

We had a wonderful farm visit today to a local crop farm. We saw wheat, potatoes, carrots, parsnips being grown and after harvesting. The children got to run their hands through a hillside of wheat grains and beans and were allowed to grub in the fields and dig up germinating seeds. All agreed it was ' the best trip ever!' :)
