Showing off her wound

We decided one Nell was enough for the world so she spent the day at the vets getting speyed. Have spent whole day and evening and will probably spend night worrying about her (know it's a standard op but I knew someone who nearly lost their dog due to complications that developed when they got the dog home).

She's feeling ever so sorry for herself. We aren't allowed to walk her for 3 days and then only on the lead for 10 days. Not quite sure how to keep a mad springer entertained for that long without burning off some energy on mad walks with her leaping through the undergrowth. Get well soon Nell.

Eva told me she was " so stressed" today. When I asked her why she said she didn't want Santa claus to come. Dunno if it's something to do with us blocking his chimney up with a log burner! Oh to be a 3 year old and only have those kind of worries!
