BEECH NUT

Beech Nut was a brand of chewing gum from my childhood days around 1963. I used to earn money by filling up these machines for the local shopkeeper. Beech Nut had a sweet peppery taste and came in little oblong packs.

Many thanks for all the positive comments regarding my Blip yesterday . . . I forgot to mention that men were already working on the restoration of Sir Nigel Gresley . . . only about 35 months to go before she returns in full steam !
