Sparrow in the Rain

I'd planned to go out and take pictures of the autumn colours today. But the heavy rain changed my mind. So instead we went to North Cave Wetlands Centre where we could shelter in the hides, and had an enjoyable (if somewhat chilly) time watching the water birds.
As the rain eased off some sparrows came out to investigate the bird feeders - sheltering in the trees near the hide until they got brave enough to approach the feeding station.
