More Autumn Brightness

The mahonia which towers over yesterday's acer came to my blip rescue after a day full of medical appointments: Tess's Dad for a pacemaker check this morning, me for an eye check this afternoon.

Just time for some cooking in preparation for friends coming to dinner tomorrow.
