Being Single

There is only one drawback to being single as far as I'm concerned - being ill! I was in this situation yesterday - sudden bad tummy which made me feel like the alien baby in Alien Resurrection when it's insides are sucked out into space!!! Spent quite a while on the cool slate tiles of the bathroom floor feeling faint, mobile clutched in my hand incase things got worse! Once recovered found a message from Friend re going with her for her latest results - had to decline! But I did say if there was no message from me in 30 mins send rescue but under no circumstance come herself - with chemo friday a tummy bug was the last thing she needed to catch! Luckily I was able to  message her to stand down! 
There is something quite lonely about having no one to take care of you when sick, just a FatCat looking for affection as you are sat on the toilet feeling both faint and clammy and in pain! Maybe she thought she was offering me support - all she got was a shove to leave me the hell alone!!
