In stark contrast to previous blips...

Just down the road from where I work is the city of Amman with it's profusion of little white houses and apartments. Amman is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The population is experiencing rapid growth, as a result the city is expanding further into the desert and towards the Jordan valley. Wonder what the future holds here for my kestrels, camels and goats?

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
