Mount Tomah: The Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens

A wonderful garden to visit and the excitement of the day is this plant and the flowers. It was stunning. We had a wonderful day here and driving through the mountains, and to John's delight we spotted an echidna, John's description 'it looks like a hedgehog on steroids'. Hope to show in the extra.

The beautiful Chilean bromeliads: it is a relative of the pineapple but it does not produce an edible fruit. Instead it produces the most incredible flowers that attract bees and birds.
