Glow in the dark rhodo.

It rained today. Hooray. Nice and gentle, soaking in. I sat on the patio/verandah/back porch with tripod and took the section of the back garden with "Milkmaid" the glowing rhododendron before it starts to turn brown. The maple next to it really shows it off and I have just planted up the wheelbarrow with petunias and alyssum for the foreground.
The best thing we ever did when buying this property was to put a roof over  the surrounding concrete. We can sit out there in the summer for shade or when it rains. One side we are out of the southwest wind and the other the northerly or sea breeze. We can hang clothes to dry, store the pumpkins. Very useful.
