Abstract - not quite

No, I haven't ventured away from my Australian natives. Walking to our home yesterday I noticed all the pollen stamens of the nearby Callistemon had been wind swept into a bundle by the pathway. The actual flowers on the bush are quite small and green, but hardly noticed in the presence of this so called "bottle brush".
The extra is one of the flowers partially depleted of its red stamens.
