FROM THE SUBLIME...

Had to give her a "fret-dress" which entails filing the frets level, then rounding them off & polishing them - it's a four hour job. This guitar is the equivalent of the Martin 00018, only compared to a modern Martin, this guitar is 10 X better!

TO THE NOT QUITE RIDICULOUS...
...the "extra" is an incredibly badly made oud - an instrument for gullible  tourists. Its seams are splitting all over the place!
For an 11-stringed instrument - there are 12 tuning pegs!
But the nut has provision for only 10 strings!

This awful oud will be made playable tomorrow with a new nut & with the traditional 11 strings because it's to be presented to a Syrian oud-playing refugee sans oud...

Guess an awful oud is better than on oud at all?
