Through The Toilet Window ...
... at the top of the building housing the Phillipine Pavillion. The exhibitions were a collaboration of different artists - thought it was going to be a bit rubbish from the giant plastic model of a woman lounging under a palm tree at the entrance, but it was actually really good - clever, interesting, thought provoking and beautiful. I don't think this figure had anything to do with it but I might be wrong - the work was exhibited on all the floors including the attic space where even the doors denying access looked like works of art.
Headed to the San Polo & Dorsoduro areas after this where the delightful and generous owner of a printing shop sorted out getting the return boarding passes printed (only went in to ask about an Internet Café). I love the way each of the neighbourhoods or sestieri are so different. I also like the way they take pride in keeping Venice clean - see the last extra.
