Beach day!

Desperately trying to catch up on blipland. I love the technology break when we go away but was hoping id still be able to carry on with my journal. Proving tough without 3G though.

Today was warm but pretty overcast. At the risk of not getting much time on the beach we decided to cease the opportunity and go today. Shock horror when we got back and discovered the girls we're sunburn on the tops of their shoulders. Felt pretty awful about that.

The 2 big girls loved the sea and sand. They made some friends and dug up a spade and some crab limbs. We buried a few of our kids for good measure. Good times! L however, still HATES the sand. Memories of carrying her in my wrap last year while she cried came flooding back as she tried to scramble up my legs. She sat in a curled up ball on my lap for 4 hours, only braving to sit on the mat at the end. Getting there.

Went to the kids club for a while but to be honest we were all so tired after our fun day we came back and went to bed.
