By the canal

Gorgeous colours in today's sunshine on my bike ride. This was the only family of cygnets left in the stretch from Western to Bowling. The rest must have taken off to new venues. The extra photos are mallards that have returned to overwinter and the thistle down against reflections of the autumn leaves.
