When in Reykjavík

It's fun to be in the center of the city: Walking, shopping, eating, people-watching and building-watching.  It has been a favourite pastime since I was a teenager and now many buildings in Reykjavík are getting renovated and decorated.
This year, the Iceland Airwaves music festival collaborated with Urban Nation Berlin in getting a number of artists to do murals on several city walls. The project, called Wall Poetry aims to connect creative minds all over the world with one another. 

Iceland Photo Expo 2015 started in the afternoon and I was very moved by the first talk. It was from Mads Nissen, an awarded Danish photographer who tells stories with his series of photos.
