My sister entertained members today. She brought a selection of percussion instruments along so everyone could join in. 

She also recited a couple of hilarious Hilaire Belloc cautionary poems.

The Caen Hill flight has come a cropper. The lock gate at the top of the locks was left open in the early hours of Sunday. The weight of the water released has caused £100k worth of damage to the towpaths. It's my route into town and is now unpassable. Not good news.
