Garfield concrete plaque

Both a marker of time and location. Part of the Garfield Historic restoration, this plaque tells inhabitants of the historical background not documented. Many of us don't quite know the story of our neighborhood we are just placed in it. If we look carefully enough, we can see signs of past generations and how they contributed to the neighborhood. These plaques help current inhabitants make that connection easier. Future generations will not just walk over the plaque but instead begin to put together the pieces created by the restoration of the Garfield community.
