Last vestige of color

Most of the trees around us are bare now, the leaves are on the ground. I spotted this barberry when I was walking with Riley and thought the orange was pretty. 

Today was overcast and chilly again. I spent almost the entire day cleaning our "office" in the house. Our desktop computer died several years ago and we never replaced it, now only using a laptop, and we don't really need the office anymore. It had become a dumping place for all kinds of random things. So today I organized all the randomness. I am left with two stacks of papers to go through and the office is much, much neater.
