Spice Bazaar, Istanbul

Another interesting and wet day in Istanbul. The day consisted of exploring the streets on the way to the Spice Market. The 'arty' wooden house was weird but fun, adapted from one of the old original wooden houses( not many left now). A bit of shopping in the Bazaar, and then off walking along more  interesting streets to find the Mosaic Museum, which was tucked away in the Arasta Bazaar. Well worth a visit, especially as some of the Byzantine mosaics are in situ. A walk back to the hotel after refreshments in a lovely friendly cafe  called Serbethane( Amed and Jacko were great fun) to collect our cases and a taxi to the Airport.
