Nor'wester On Otarama

Overnight a nor'west gale lashed the house with heavy rain. I had to get up to close the window. I hate having the window closed.

The storm dumped more snow on the mountains, but this morning it was blowing the fresh snow away. The cloud here is the snow lifting off the mountain and foothills. By the time the wind reached me it was dry, but oh, so cold!

At lunchtime there were ominous orange cumulus clouds over Christchurch. Are you okay down there folks? :)
