Tasting the Glover

In the 1850s Thomas Blake Glover left Aberdeen and went to Japan where he was instrumental in setting up several industries . He became a Japanese hero and today we were at the launch of a Scottish Japanese whisky. It was 64% Hanyu whisky, 35 % Longmore and 1% Glen Garioch. Very nice but £1000 a bottle!! This was the view from the launch as we sipped our whiskies.
