Zachary's Journeys

Kiwilizzie and I had a text this afternoon asking us if we'd like to go and take photos of one of our students kayaking over Blackwater Falls. Our Outdoor Education teacher and a group of kids went up to tackle nature.

They are totally mad of course. The snow has settled on the hills less than 20 metres above us at the moment and we have had major rain so the falls are not only a roiling maelstrom, they are also freezing cold - bear in mind that it IS winter!

I really needed Z to go back round and do it a few more times so that I could get my focus better, but for today this is as good as it gets. Unfortunately I could only take the photos from the top so you don't really get a true feel of the height.
