Green Heron Fishing

I've seen the green heron on occasion, but tonight one of the babies was fishing in the pond, and I was able to sneak down among the reeds and enjoy the view. He was amazingly unafraid and when a golfer, looking for his ball, approached his rock, he just backed down the rock a bit, and finally flew off. If I would have realized how close I could approach, I would have tried to get in closer.
