Baddesley Clinton

A very interesting house, that dates back to Elizabethan times. It once was a hollow square but in 17th century this side was opened up. The occupying families (not a direct line) have been Catholic off and on: there is a story of priests hiding for four hours in a hole next to the sewers. (Also one of the owners murdered the vicar.)
