Off to Brighton today.

This is the wonderful Duke's @ Komedia cinema in Brighton's trendy North Laine area, not to be confused with The Lanes. 

(A laine was an open farming plot.)

Today was a showing of "Suffragette" specially for the wrinklies - £5 and free tea or coffee and biscuits.

It is a powerful film with extraordinary performances. Women in the UK owe a huge amount to those who sacrificed their family life, their jobs and even their lives.
