Peace Bridge

This is the Peace Bridge across the Bow River into Calgary. It opened on 24th March 2012 and is a cycle / pedestrian bridge designed to encourage active travel into the city centre. I walked over to have a look at it and it has good footways with a central bikeway and while I was there taking pics, lots of bike commuters were making use of it. Nice to see a city investing in active travel infrastructure.
