Looking good, Feeling good.

No Mono Monday for me today - after days and days of foul windy wet weather, today dawned bright and fair and the main school building bathed in the early morning Autumnal sunshine was truly a glorious sight to see.   The sky so intensely blue, the trees almost radiating green as the sunlight filtered through the branches, long shadows that stretched across the lawns and everyone was smiling, or so it seemed :)  - (the photo is SOTC but truly doesn't do justice to the day).  Welcome to a new week, world, may everyone in Blipland have sunshine!

Extra pic shows a moment in the Akbank Jazz Festival workshop this afternoon when more than 100 students listened, watched, and some played, with these guys - awesome moments of music.

The council cat-catchers were here again today, and took away four more of our feral cats to be neutered and inoculated against rabies. When I checked the loaded van I saw that Persembe had been rounded up! She was very happy to be released and came back with me for afternoon tea before skipping back to her siblings.  Caroline (see extra) meanwhile, posing for the lens in the by now afternoon sunshine kindly informed me that she has absolutely no intention of uselessly risking the indignity of the cat catcher's net and will refrain from frequenting the garden on the day they are due to come by Barton (home). Harry had spent the afternoon on a play date with neighbour friend's kitty, in the blissful ignorance of youth.

"Go sober for October" - one week left.  Almost there.  I have raised nearly £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support through donations from supportive friends.
