Dodging the bubble
On the harbour side in Ibiza town.
After a very early start and a packed noisy flight, we caught a taxi at the airport on our first trip to the island. The taxi had to abandon us about half a mile from the hotel, because there was a triathlon in progress. We had to dodge cyclists, spectators, runners and other obstacles to pass a totally disorganised event.
It was still going on some hours later, as can be seen in the rear of the photo - the red and white tape was a guide to the route.
