Waimate Post Office

Today is a public holiday in New Zealand, so Mario & I went for a drive to Waimate (population 7,206). 
We parked the car in the main street and had a wander up the street to take photos and poke around in the junk shops.
Then we went to a second-hand book sale at the local museum.
I bought an old recipe book from the 1950's/60's with lots of extra recipes, cut from the newspaper and pasted into the book. 
It was obviously someone's pride & joy many years ago. I shall enjoy reading through it in the coming days.

Today's blip is the old post office, which is now an information center.
