Dada Day

There were other photos in this series.  Photos in which the little lady smiled but I had to choose this one as the composition ended up trumping the content.  Besides, I'm always posting pictures of her smiles.  It's time for a serious face.

Sundays are becoming 'Dada Day' in this household.  Well, by day I mean half a day, but the intention is there to try and give Nikki a break.  Well, it's more of an instruction than an offer but I'll pretend to be the good guy.

After promising the wee man a trip to his favourite place (if he behaved), I finally made true on my word and took the kids, along with a couple of friends from work (and their kids) to the greatest place in Carlsbad.  We hit Legoland, again.

Thankfully it was a little overcast today so the usual sun cream wasn't such an issue.  At around 80C, it was one of the more comfortable trips we've done.  Granted, the kids didn't go on any rides today but they just loved wandering around, building bricks and playing with each other.

The sugar crash wasn't as bad as yesterday either.  Fingers crossed they sleep well tonight.
