Blink and You'd Miss It ...

Sheffield welcomed the Olympic Torch this evening and I managed to get a front row pitch to watch the happenings as they unfolded and I wasn't disappointed! Despite standing around for 2 hours and the torch bearer passing by in a relative flash, the festive spirit ran high as the community - young and old, every creed and every colour - came together to celebrate another historical landmark in 2012.

I felt quite proud to be a part of it and to witness a once in a lifetime event and having felt the incredible atmosphere, I'm even more inclined to shout out loud and proud for Team GB!!
