Bike riding past the tree farm

I loved the symmetry of the tree farm, rows upon rows of them. I love order and alignment - the changing colours of the leaves helped accentuate the lines of different varieties of trees. A lazy Sunday lie-in with the newspaper (with the cat trying to hide under it), pots of tea and coffee and no where to be...heavenly. Eventually my hubby headed off to organize the garage for winter putting the kayak, bikes and patio chairs away. I slipped on to my road bike since the sun was shining brightly and went for a 2hr 50k ride on the colourful country roads. Then home to make a big dinner for a good friend who has returned from being away for a month. We had a cozy catch up over a delicious dinner and dessert. Had a long chat on the phone with #1 son, all is well, he currently has a busy and happy household of 3 cats and one huge dog who thinks he is still a puppy. A great day....
