Prettiest Pumpkin in the Patch

Saturday, we spent the morning doing some chores around the house.  With all the illness this week, we needed to get caught up on laundry and the dishes.  I hate it when either of those things pile up.

Sugar and I headed to the pumpkin patch for a variety of reasons.  First...to have a fun time together.  Secondly, to grab a few pumpkins to support our local patch, and finally to get some nice photos.  It has been awhile since I've purposely set out to get a portrait of my girl.  She chose her outfit, I fixed her hair, and we set out with hope in our hearts.  I'm pretty happy with the shots I got, and so is she.  Sugar is reaching that age where she cares a bit more about what she looks like in the photos I take.  This day was a happy success.  We both enjoyed our time together so much.  Holding hands....walking through the corn maze.....giggling and chatting about life.  So blessed.

We grabbed some milkshakes on the way home, and then arrived just in time to get tons of outdoor chores done as well.  I did a nice deep clean of the bunny hutch, and then mowed down the weeds in our yard.  It felt good...and everything looks so much better.

I ended up with acid reflux again......darn milkshake.....and went to bed in pain.  When I have this issue...it usually lasts for a few weeks.  At least...I'm hoping it goes away like it has in the past.  Crossing my fingers.
