Stow Maries Airfield

visited an old WW1 airfield that was featured in the 'Great British Year' programme. Although known for its owls and its aircraft I sadly haven't blipped either! I did photograph an old replica plane that was doing circuits but didn't  see any owls although some are nesting in the derelict buildings there, like this one.  Afterwards we went to a lovely little church at Utling which we may revisit at a better time of day.
