Mom's Tree

Is grief then, less than grief
When crimson handkerchiefs are used to keep
The strained and silent tears in that I weep?
And is an autumn leaf less dying
Though it die a scarlet way?

Emily Dickenson

I have blipped this tree before. I planted it a month after my mom died. It lives as a beautiful tribute to her in every season. I especially love it in the fall. Grief fades, but the beauty of a life lives on.
