Our band played at the inaugural Bristol and Bath marathon this morning, giving the 5000+ runners some musical encouragement at the start and then at the 10-mile point. The spectators seemed to appreciate it too.

During a break I spotted the tell-tale signs ofJohn King's engine starting, a 1935 tug built by Bristol's last master boat builder who gave his name to the vessel.
