Practising!

The ladies, Mrs BR and Miss T are practising making cakes for Christmas as a project during half term.
This one is their version of a Mary Berry's Black Forest gateau but, they decided they don't like cherries, kirsch or cherry jam!!
So it is a raspberry version with raspberry jam instead....still very delicious and you can still drive the car home afterwards (no alcohol!)
They were particularly delighted that the little chocolate christmas trees worked out so well.
Hope you all had a lovely relaxing Sunday and the weather in Guernsey has been delightful but.....sad to say, the dreaded short days are with us as the clocks have changed back.  Never mind, lots of extra time for indoor pursuits.
