Colour in the Beech

I took myself off to the beech wood this afternoon to look for colour. It's progressing nicely and I had a lovely time to myself.

I chose this as it showed the most colour and I like the path, It was the first shot I took. How often does that happen?

I will be back a few times over the next few weeks.
Off out tonight to book group. We have been reading "The goldfinch" by Donna Tartlett. A very long book with an OK story but too long winded for me and I struggled to finish it.
