A brighter day. The trees in Hyde Park looked amazing - but I was squashed on the number 10 bus heading for Euston and the train home.
A tiring but superb weekend. A concert in Cadogan Hall on Friday, followed by one of the best modern Italian meals I've ever eaten, at Tartufo near to Sloane Square.
Finally, Saturday evening, the piece de resistance, "Harlequinade" and "All on her Own", two Rattigan plays, from the Kenneth Branagh Theatre company. Wonderful. The longer play was hilarious. Sophisticated belly laughs. If you get a chance to see this double bill, it's well worth it.
Meanwhile, back at home, the Acer blooms and the red leaves begin to curl and head for Winter.
