Banister

Not so great today. The lawn was meant to be delivered. Unfortunately the guy who turned up only had a pallet truck to unload with and as a result couldn’t get the pallets off the truck and into the garage. We then had the normal ”it is in our terms and conditions” bit sir, which has resulted in it being delivered on Monday lunchtime and me being charged another £30 delivery. Ahhh. Wouldn’t mind so much but they have delivered to us before.

J has been working from home as we have had the boiler serviced as well today. All seems OK. Decided to get a head start on some things we need to do before Christmas like putting back the banister. We removed it to allow the removal men better access and preferred it that way. With J’s parents coming for Christmas and other guests it makes it easier to get up the stairs when it in. Also managed to make a batch of soup for next week as well.
