Needless to say......

.....it was all downhill from there......oh, and I STILL can't do 'Mechanical Arithmetic', whatever that is/was (but I suspect it could have included Stones/Pounds/ Ounces, Yards/Feet/Inches and Pounds/Shillings/Pence, and the adding/subtracting/multiplying and division thereof)......mind you, it looks like the form teacher (naming no names/bit of judicious cropping/can't afford a libel lawsuit on a pension) wasn't forthcoming with the working out of percentages either;-) 
(but I make it 87.85714%......and 'near enough for pitwork', as my Grandda would have said;-))

Doing a bit of scanning of vital to the nation family documents today......this one I might even frame ;-)
