Trains- little ones!

Our family friend was having a party for his wee girl and his son today and invited us along!

It was at the miniature trains. Yeah! Mini trains! You can sit on them, there's a conductor, there's even a little steam train that chugs along.

It goes around quite a big track- through a forest , over a bridge, around a lake. 10 minutes of pretty cool fun. The trains i have to say are really interesting you can read more about  them here. 

The party was in a little tent in front of the train tracks and my gosh they did an awesome job, so much food and a huge variety , star wars themed! Because we all love star wars!

As well as the invite, the amazing party food, we got free train rides! 

My boys could not wait to go, in fact they went 3 times and towards the end as we sat having delicious chocolate birthday cake we realized Harper was no longer with us. 

He had taken off and Andre found him by the train platform, he had skipped the queue and tried to get on the train all by himself. We laughed at how crazy it would have been had we not realized he was gone and suddenly see him on a  train going by!!

We were so grateful to be invited to such a  cool day out, to a beautiful birthday party!. We spent hours there and my boys had smiles on their faces the whole time. 

They were so tired on the way home they all broke down into tears upon leaving... Its ok we'll go back i'm sure!

Got home and they sat watching videos Andre took of them on the trains while eating star wars cookies.
