Laura and Eric ...

... are visiting this weekend, as they do frequently from their home in New York--including stays in Paris (notice that the table cloth in the link is the same one as here).

Laura is Marylee's niece; her husband Eric (looking up from his sketchbook) is an illustrator and designer in popular music.   He's in good company with Maurice Sendak, whose elaborate pop-up book on the table I was just delighted to acquire used for nearly nothing--it's a cousin of Where the Wild Things Are.
