Mack

Mack is a veteran of the United States Army.  He served in Vietnam.  Mack lives on a sidewalk in my town because he cannot afford housing. He has a tent that he cannot pitch because of a city ordinance that prohibits it.  "Nobody wants us around," he told me today when I stopped to talk. 

Thousands of Macks live in thousands of towns across this great country.  We spend millions and billions of dollars to fund the political sideshows of candidates that do not care about Mack. 

I may not be a brain surgeon running for president, but perhaps what we need a little more of is actually heart.  The problem is real.  We can do better.
