The Day that Went Right
A great day out in London. We met up with Annie's stepmum at the Duchess Theatre to see "The Play That Goes Wrong". If you haven't seen it, it's a superb show, a real laugh every minute.
After the show, we caught a bus (a real London Routemaster, not one of the new ones) to Monument. We walked across London Bridge to Borough Market where we had a little wander around the always vibrant marketplace. I spotted this large (and rather expensive) pumpkin before sitting down for a meal at Rabot 1745, the restaurant owned by the Hotel Chocolat group. We had a fantastic meal under the heaters on the balcony, they were hot enough to give you a suntan! It's the second time Annie and I have been and it lived up to expectations once again.
Finally home now, perhaps we will have a day off from London tomorrow!
