Ice cream thief

So, I made pudding, a meringue, some apricots and a blob of ice cream. I made the mistake of leaving the room for a few seconds. When I returned there was no ice cream... The thief was apprehended with his mouth full. He got away with it, how do you pull ice cream back out of a dogs mouth? I just put more ice cream on and ate it...
